£7,500. Five working days.
AI Ready Review
A fast, honest read on whether your business is actually ready for AI, before you spend on it. We tell you where the real value is and whether your data, systems, and team can support it, in time for it to matter.
BOOK AN AI STRATEGY CALL
What it is
The AI Ready Review is a short, senior read on your AI position, run before you have committed real budget or real time to an AI programme.
It is not a full strategy and it does not pretend to be.
It answers one question: is there genuine, achievable value in AI for your business right now, and are you ready to go after it? If the answer is yes, you move forward knowing where to start and why. If the answer is not yet, you find that out before you have spent six figures discovering it the hard way.
A senior AI leader spends five working days with your business, your data, and your goals. They come back with the five opportunities that matter, ranked, and an honest verdict you can take to your board.
This is the AI work most businesses should do first, and the one almost nobody offers honestly, because "you are not ready yet" does not sell as well as a transformation programme.
When to use it
Take the AI Ready Review when AI is on the agenda but the path is not clear.
It fits a board that is asking what the business is doing about AI and wants a straight answer rather than a slide deck. It fits a leadership team under pressure to "do something with AI" and wary of wasting money on it. It fits a business that has tried a few AI tools and wants to know whether there is a real strategy underneath the experiments. And it fits anyone who suspects the AI hype does not match their reality and wants that instinct tested cheaply.
If you already know AI matters and want the full plan, you probably want AI Strategy instead.
If you will be executing an AI programme and want the roadmap to run it, look at AI Strategy + 90-Day Plan.
What we look at
Five days is not long, so we spend it on the things most likely to change your decision rather than covering everything shallowly.
- Opportunity, at headline level. Where could AI create real, measurable value in your business, and where is it noise? We rank the handful worth pursuing.
- Data readiness. Most AI value is unlocked or blocked by data. Is yours in a state that can actually support what you want to do, or is that the first job?
- Systems and integration. Can AI plug into how you already work, or would it need foundations you do not yet have?
- Skills and adoption. Does the business have the capability to use AI well, and the appetite to change how it works? This is where most AI initiatives quietly die.
- Risk and governance exposure. Where would AI create risk you are not set up to manage, data, regulatory, or reputational?
What you receive
A short written report, usually five to eight pages, containing:
- Your top five AI opportunities, ranked by real value and feasibility
- An honest readiness verdict: ready, not yet, or not here
- For each opportunity, whether it is a quick win, a foundation-first case, or one to leave
- What has to be true, in data, systems, and skills, before you invest
- A recommendation on whether a full AI strategy is warranted, and where it should focus
Plus an hour debrief with your leadership team, where you can ask the questions the report will not have anticipated.
The report is written for leaders. It assumes you are commercially fluent and technically not, and it does not hide behind jargon or hype.
Three ways to buy it
Fixed prices, published, no hourly rates. You know what the work costs and what you get before you commission it, which is more than most of the deal process will offer you.
How the week runs
-
Day one. Scoping call. We agree what matters most for your business so the five days are spent in the right places.
-
Days two and three. Assessment. We review your data, systems, and current AI use, and where useful hold a working session with your leadership and technology people. We are candid throughout.
-
Day four. Analysis and drafting. Opportunities ranked, readiness characterised honestly.
-
Day five. Report delivered, debrief held. You have it in hand for your board.
If your data or systems are clearly not ready, we tell you on day two rather than day five, so you can adjust scope with your eyes open.
Who it is for
- CEOs and boards being asked what the business is doing about AI.
- Leadership teams under pressure to adopt AI and wary of wasting money.
- Businesses that have experimented with AI tools and want to know if there is a real strategy underneath.
- Investors or acquirers who want an honest read on a business's AI position.
What it does not cover
Being clear about this matters more than selling you the next tier up.
The AI Ready Review does not build a full AI strategy, does not produce a costed roadmap, does not design governance frameworks, and does not deliver or implement anything. It gives you headline reads on opportunity and readiness, not full assessments of either.
If you need those things, AI Strategy covers them at £22,000 over two to three weeks.
